Brest is taken as the reference port for viewing purposes. The current points included in these files correspond to the arrows shown on current atlases.

Ce produit contient, sous forme maillée, l’ensemble des fichiers numériques du SHOM relatif aux courants de marée des côtes françaises métropolitaines de la Manche et de la façade Atlantique. Ces fichiers numériques indiquent les composantes du courant de marée de surface, heure par heure et pour deux coefficients de marée caractéristiques (45 et 95). Le port de référence est le port de Brest. Les points de courant contenus dans les fichiers correspondent aux flèches représentées sur les atlas de courant.

This product proposes pre-computed tidal predictions (times and heights of high and low tide with tidal coefficients if available).
