The data are referenced to 057 France - Sein (ile) Nord (ZH) which is assimilated to LAT. Data are corrected for sound velocity variations. Au-delà, dans les grands fonds, la précision verticale est majoritairement de l ordre de 1 à 2% de la profondeur du fond. Parfois, elle est plus élevée selon la technologie utilisée.
