This product contains the wind forecasts, computed with the weather model IFS-CEP from ECMWF and weather models ARPEGE and AROME operated by Météo-France.

The displayed variables are the speed and the direction of 10m-high winds, and the atmospheric pressure at the sea level (3-hour to 1h time steps). <br />

Lineage

The data.shom.fr visualisation consists of a spatial aggregation of forecasts at different resolutions:

- GLOB05:IFS-CEP weather model, globale scale on a 0.5°x0.5° grid. Forecasts are provided with 3-hour steps until D+4;

- EURAT01: Météo-France ARPEGE weather model on european regional scale with a 0.1°x0.1° grid. Forecasts are hourly provided until D+4;

- ANGUY01: IFS-CEP weather model on Antilles-Guyane regional scale with a 0.1°x0.1° grid. Forecasts are provided with 3-hour steps until D+4;

- MASCA01: IFS-CEP weather model on Indian Ocean regional scale with a 0.1°x0.1° grid. Forecasts are provided with 3-hour steps until D+4;

- EURW1S100: Météo-France AROME weather model on the metropolitan France scale, with a 0.01°x0.01° grid. Forecasts are hourly provided until D+2;

- CARAIB0025: Météo-France AROME weather model on the scale of the Caribbean area, with a 0.025°x0.025° grid. Forecasts are hourly provided until D+2;

- GUYANE0025: Météo-France AROME weather model on the french Guiana scale, with a 0.025°x0.025° grid. Forecasts are hourly provided until D+2;

- INDIEN0025: Météo-France AROME weather model on the indian ocean scale, with a 0.025°x0.025° grid. Forecasts are hourly provided until D+2.

Wind forecasts are available on data.shom.fr from D-15 to D+3 to 5 for all models. These forecasts can be downloaded in Grib format over this period for the Météo-France models (Arpege, Arome).

Weather forecasts of the Arpege, Arome and Arome Outre-Mer models are also available on the public data portal of Météo-France: https://donneespubliques.meteofrance.fr/.
