Collecte externe : - Marine Nationale : certains bâtiments de la Marine Nationale équipés de matériels d'investigation sous-marine effectuent des interventions par plongeurs et transmettent les résultats de leurs explorations au Shom ; - Organismes publics : en particulier, les Directions Départementales des Territoires et de la Mer (DDTM) ; - Organismes portuaires ; - Associations de plongeurs comme le groupe de Recherche et d’Identification des Épaves en Manche-Est (GRIEME) ; - DRASSM : département des recherches archéologiques subaquatiques et sous-marines ; - Plongeurs souhaitant partager leurs informations.
