Le produit est composé de 4 fichiers maillés de résolutions spatiales différentes qui couvrent respectivement la zone du Finistère (vue globale à 500 m) et les secteurs géographiques de la mer d'Iroise (250 m), Rade de Brest (100 m) et port de Brest (30 m). Les vitesses U et V des courants de marée sont fonction des conditions de marée considérées en morte-eau moyenne (coefficient 45) ou vive-eau moyenne (coefficient 95). Les données sont fournies en m/s pour la couche de surface. Les échéances sont données en temps par rapport à la pleine mer du port de référence choisi sur la zone et sont fournies de 6 heures avant à 6 heures après cette référence. The Tidal stream atlas netcdf product – Western Brittany provides tidal current data for an area stretching from the northern coast of Brittany (Porsguen) to the south of Penmarc'h. The product consists of four gridded files with different spatial resolutions covering the Finistère area (overall view at 500 m) and the geographical areas of the Iroise Sea (250 m), Brest bay (100 m) and Brest harbour (30 m). The U and V velocities of the tidal currents depend on the tidal conditions considered at mean neap and spring tidal rates. The data are provided in m/s for the surface layer. Pour une morte-eau et une vive-eau moyenne de coefficients respectifs 45 et 95, il contient les données numériques des courants de marée de surface sur un cycle de marée échantillonné toutes les 5 minutes. Le produit, fourni sur une grille régulière, est disponible au format netcdf-CF à différentes résolutions (500 m, 250 m, 100 m et 30 m) et sur différentes emprises (Finistère, zoom sur la mer d'Iroise, la rade de Brest et le port de Brest). The Tidal stream atlas netcdf product – Western Brittany is the result of using a high-resolution hydrodynamic model implemented by Shom in the Iroise Sea. For an average neap tide and spring tide with tidal coefficients of 45 and 95 respectively, it contains numerical data of surface tidal currents over a tidal cycle sampled every 5 minutes. The product, provided on a regular grid, is available in netcdf-CF format at different resolutions (500 m, 250 m,100 m and 30 m) and on different areas (Finistère, zoom on the Iroise Sea, Brest Bay and Brest harbour).
