Near real time in-situ Observations (Channel, European atlantic facade, Mediterranean sea)

Channel, European atlantic facade, Mediterranean sea - Near real Time (NRT) in situ observations. Observations retrieved from CMEMS products: <a href=" https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00043" target="_blank">INSITU_IBI_PHYBGCWAV_DISCRETE_MYNRT_013_033</a> and <a href=" https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00044" target="_blank">INSITU_MED_PHYBGCWAV_DISCRETE_MYNRT_013_035</a>

These observations are quality controlled, hourly updated and distributed by INSTAC within 24-48 hours from acquisition in average (Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service – In Situ Thematic Assembly Centre - <a href=" http://www.marineinsitu.eu/" target="_blank"> http://www.marineinsitu.eu</a>).

The variables retrieved and displayed are: temperature (TEMP, surface/profile depending on the plateform type), salinity (PSAL, surface/profile depending on the plateform type) and wave characteristics (sea surface significant height VHM0, period VTPK and direction VPED of spectral peaks).

The displayed data are consistent with CMEMS data and no quality control is performed by data.shom.fr. Outliers may exist.
