Il couvre un secteur comprenant l'intégralité du port de Boulogne-sur-Mer, du nord de Wimereux au sud de l'agglomération boulonnaise. Ce MNT est destiné à être implémenté dans les modèles hydrodynamiques du projet TANDEM afin d'estimer les effets côtiers des tsunamis pour l’Atlantique et la Manche, où sont installées les centrales nucléaires françaises depuis environ 30 ans. Ce produit est disponible avec comme référence verticale le niveau des plus basses mers astronomiques (PBMA) ou le niveau moyen des mers (NM). The coastal topo- bathymetric DEM for the coasts of Boulogne-Sur-Mer with a resolution of 0.0001° (~ 10 m) was prepared as part of the TANDEM project (Programme Investissements d'Avenir, ANR-11-RSNR-00023-01). The DEM covers the entire Boulogne-sur-Mer port, from north of Wimereux to south of the Boulogne-sur-Mer urban sprawl. The DEM is designed to be implemented in the hydrodynamic models of the TANDEM project in order to estimate the coastal effects of tsunamis for the Atlantic and English Channel, where French nuclear power plants have been installed for about 30 years. Les principales tâches de production de cette gamme de produits s’articulent autour de 4 axes majeurs visant chacun à réduire les incertitudes du MNT : 1) le recueil, l’évaluation, le pré-traitement et la sélection de données de sources multiples dont l’acquisition est issue de capteurs et d’époques différentes ; 2) l’homogénéisation de la référence verticale et horizontale des jeux de données ; 3) l’utilisation d’algorithmes d’interpolation adaptés à la répartition hétérogène et à la densité variable des données, et 4) l’évaluation et la qualification du produit finalisé et l’élaboration de sa documentation. The main tasks involved in producing this range of solutions are based on 4 key aspects, each intended to reduce uncertainty for the DEM: 1) collecting, evaluating, pre-processing and selecting data from multiple sources after acquisition using survey systems from various eras; 2) homogenising the vertical and horizontal datums for data sets; 3) using interpolation algorithms suitable for a heterogeneous distribution and the variable density of data, and 4) evaluating and qualifying the final product and preparing documentation.
